I have spent the last couple days looking at media extenders. From my brief research I am leaning towards the tvix 4100SH. The tvix website indicates that 4100SH has the same specs as the upcoming 5100SH. I actually like the form factor of the 4100SH better than the 5100SH. So it seems to be a no brainer to buy the cheaper and currently available 4100SH. But I wanted to see if anyone here knew of any reasons I should wait for the 5100SH. The only concern that I could think of was that support for the 4100SH would be dropped soon or at least sooner than the 5100SH. Any input would be appreciated.

Both models have the same firmware inside. Their functionality is identical. Their support will cease at the same time if ever. 5100SH has metal casing hence more expensive.
