sorry can't embed for some reason. I still have no idea on how they improved the game. A few questions:
Did they fix the damn leaderboards?
Is digimasking back and improved?
How big are the tournaments?
Is anyone going to be playing this with Halo 3 dropping the same day?
Can I create my own game?
As you can see, the original game had some real obvious flaws. Hopefully these bugs are worked out. Is anyone picking this up?

This game will get no love online.

I don't see this giving any competition to H3, but some people will still play it I am sure.

It might be a smart move. They know they can't compete with Halo 3, but they will have their game on the shelves the same day millions of hardcore gamers will be in stores already buying at least one game.

So go stand in line at midnight and when you get to the front of the line ask the cashier for World Series of Poker 08.
Or Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

I never liked it because it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to slow and the "you have to keep the arrow on this red or blue area or else you'll shake and give away your hand" nonsense.. I've played in 2 tourneys in real life and after the first few hands you get settled down and it's just like a home game..

LOL, which one am I thinking of? I thought there were only 2 retail poker games. There's was one for the XBOX but I don't think it has been released for the 360..

game's been out for about a week now. Only one review out there and it got about an 8.5. I've heard of some leaderboard problems again, but it sounds like a great game of poker. I await more news

I am thinking about picking this up. Looks to be a solid game. I've never owned a poker game before, aside from a $4.99 title I picked up for the DS. :) Anyone pick it up yet? whiskey > sloth?

No, I skipped it for the time being and here's why: I heard the leaderboards are still busted. Also, tons of people are playing halo and even the last poker game. The big draw for me is huge tourneys, just not sure I can get them with this one. I've asked around in the lobbies of the last poker game about this one and everyone says it is better for sure, but is it worth 50 beans and the risk of broken leaderboards and empty tables? Nah, not for me but if you don't have '07 go ahead and grab it cuz it's supposedly a better game

Ding! Ding! Ding! Correct!

I'm in the poker industry, the only way I'm playing poker on the xbox with a bunch of teen agers and wanna-be-pro college noobs is if I can win something....

hmmm, that begs the question, can I win something?

The leader boards sound like a joke with what I'm sure is rampant collusion

I don't think you can win anything...
I tried the xbox live arcade game for a bit.. but it is not satisfying..

I play in homegames once a week on avg and for real money online a good bit.

I see the point of online for cash. But these games are still fun, especially with the camera. Try that with your fancy computer on pokerstars

Does the camera offer live video, or just a picture?

I can understand how it would be fun.. I was kinda pissed about the live arcade game cuz all they offer is sit n go's .. no multitable tournaments.. I didn't realize that when I bought it.

Live video. It's pretty fun, plus you have the headset so it is much more immersive than sitting at a pc. It offers a totally different experience. For those who are "too cool" to try it because they can't win anything, give it a try.

Yes, online poker is much cleaner. There is no collusion. It isn't common for 4-5 people sit down at a poker table online and use programs like team speak and ventrilo to rake in the dough from unsuspecting victims. No, it would never happen.

I'm not to cool to do video but I'm also not lame enough to go that route.. There's no reason to do video because it adds no realism to the game because real money isn't involved..

And just try to go into a UNO game without a cam.. It's almost like a Chris Hanson meets Xbox Live game..

Yeah, at cash games that's pretty common. Big tourneys are a little different though..

Did you guys hear about that scandal at Absolute Poker?

lol, so true....I cant believe anyone would actually spend money on a poker game for Xbox when its free online and you can play it on any PC in your house.
