I am hoping that experts in this forum can help me in my decision. Compared to other setups, my goals are actually much simpler:


I am looking for a HDD based digital audio player to be connected to a stereo system.
Since no TVs will be involved, it should have a serviceable screen and menu system to select artist/album. It would be great if I can create playlists on the device or at least import them from a PC.
Networkability is desirable but not that important. I'd rather have a full USB connection for occasional connection to a laptop or external HD.


Looking around the TVIX 4000 looks good but I am not sure of its screen/menus/UI and of course reliability. SONOS obviously would be awesome but it is too expensive for me. Any suggestions?

hmm you can look also to the ziova cs510 device has gerat Audiofeatures, you can read also an good test on mpcclub.com and with the 2.00 firmware comes really soon already rc4 makes the device more interessting ;-)
