How about TDK media?
Anyone have any good or bad to say about it?
I see CC has it $4.99 for a 25 pack this week and Walgreens has it
$13 for 50. Not as good but not bad and they are the store that might still have MIJ if they are any good?
TDK stopped making consumer DVDs in their factories over a year ago (to concentrate on HD disc), so you might not get genuine TDK media...maybe some still in the pipeline? Maybe you can buy a small qty and check the MID before loading up? I got some TDK over a year ago and they have the genuine TDK MID.
In case you missed it, CMC is making some Verbatims now but they're using Verbatim media and tools...see this post (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=11437990#post11437990). Verbatim might be a better choice if available?

I second the TDK 16x -R disks. They work great for me.

A friend of mine just gave me a 25-pk. of the TDK 16x -R discs to record some stuff for him, and I've had no problems with them at all so far.
I bought a few of those (MIT) -RW's they had at Walgreens for .99 a couple of weeks back, but I haven't had an opportunity to use them yet.
In case anyone is interested the 25 pack MIT TDK +R 8X
MID is CMC MAG E01
