Can anyone tell me what sort of options I have for terminating a long HDMI cable w/a wall outlet? ie. something like this Leviton quickport or some other decora-style connector:

This is obviously a s-video port, but Leviton apparently doesn't make a HDMI quickport.
Thanks,
Steve

Yep, exactly like those, which I just found 20 minutes ago. I had already bookmarked monoprice.com on my desktop based on a few references to reasonably-priced HDMI cables... and after browsing the whole site -- GOOD LORD MAN!
They have so many odd things that I've been looking all over for (like 1ft, 3ft, 15ft IEC power cords, various jack adapters, etc) and all at 1/10 the price I found for those things I did find elsewhere, including these HDMI wall plates and some really short and really long HDMI cables. This is almost too good to be true.
I've been looking at these too, but was wondering if the extra connections made at each wall box will degrade the signal, especially when considering hdmi 1.3?
IE: the path from your receiver to your TV:
1. short hdmi cable from receiver to hdmi wall plate in media closet (connections: receiver (1) outside of wall plate (1))
2. long hdmi cable (20') from wall plate through basement to second wall plate behind TV (connections: inside of each wall plate (2))
3. short hdmi cable from TV's hdmi wall plate to TV (connections: outside of wall plate (1) TV (1)
total connections between receiver and TV: 6! Is this asking for trouble?
Also, if you buy nice expensive cables, there's no indication that the connections in these wall plates are of any decent quality...

That's true. I'm sure there is some signal penalty for all the additional connections. I'm not banking on this working for me 100% anyway, since I'll be running a 50 ft HDMI cable to it. I'll be trying it in-line before making a bigger hole in the wall to mount it.
I'm looking at a set that has 3 HDMI inputs. Does anyone make a wallplate with 3 HDMI jacks?

There's an outfit btx.com that sells just the HDMI connector. order 3 and make your own.
catalog page (http://www.btx.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=CD-HDMIFFP&Category=783f8fd0-ef4d-4b39-a89b-d92d04576233).
the screws shown on the sides are removable, i.e. the housing is threaded for flush mounting.
