Hello, I'm new here, but i think this is the perfect place to ask my question and get a good answer.

Ok at the moment i have a homebuilt HTPC in my room with satellite took up to it, which is connected to a HD Tube TV. Were planing on switching over to Cable pretty soon and i will be a getting a dual-tuner HD PVR for my room and was thinking if i could just find something which could replace the other parts of my HTPC i could finally get rid of it from my room (Mostly tired of dealing with Windows, Wont be able to record HD and makes my room to warm).

So far I've found two devices which seem to fill that need, the first is the Eureka LX350 and the second the Mediagate MG-350HD. The Eureka LX350 seems too be the best from what i can find of the two which isn't much. But here is what I'm looking for. The unit needs to be able to play as many video formats as possible including HD video (Which these two do i believe), also i need it to play MP3's, have built in Ethernet for streaming files from other pc's (And be able to transfer files to it over the network). And have an internal SATA connection for HHD. I don't want to spend more then 300$ Canadian, the cheaper the unit the better.

Hello, so been looking more into it the Mvix 760-HD also looks really good, but it doesn't seem to really do much more then the other too for 90$ more and also doesn't seem to be able to play any more formats. Does anyone have any experience with the Eureka LX350 and the Mediagate MG-350HD and can tell me what the major differences are and really which one is better. I do like the Eureka LX350 better primarily because that it supports SATA drives.
