I Just bought the SL-4778N in Canada, and realized 1st day that the remote was defective. Called HP support and they told me this model still not released in Canada. They do not have part # in their system and cannot ship me the remote. Took me 2 days to argue and have them finally agree and ship the remote to me.
So far, I have only tested the TV for 1 day, but have noticed the following:
1- Picture quality is OK. Not great but OK. Make sure you're at least 8-10' away while watching.
2- Getting the Internet and wireless connection working is a challenge. Took me 1 hour for a simple set up. Finally I realized that despite software asking me to enter an IP address for the box, it ignored what I entered and used DHCP to grab IP address.
3- I finally connected to my home-pc via 802.11g and had my Windows Mediaplyer share files and could view them on TV. The connection seems to be slow, so, will try an 802.11n to see if it makes difference.
4- One big drawback of this TV is supported Video files. There are a few codecs that are supported. But many others that are not.
5- I still have problem connecting to Internet services.

6- I will spend next couple of days playing with it and post further results.
