Hi Gentleman,

I'm looking for a little expert advise here with this newbie question. About 3 years ago I purchased a JVC DLA-G150CL as a store demo. I've had it hooked up to my faroudja NRS scaler which is set-up at 1365x1024 for this projector in my dedicated HT. About 5 months ago my pj just started shutting down. It only had like 500 hours on it but would shut down in the middle of a movie and the lamp light would flash, so I just figured that the bulb was bad and only going to give me half the life. I had a friend that was upgrading his HT to a new JVC DLA-RS1 1080P pj and sold me his JVC-SX21U with the panamorph lens and a spare buld. The pj only now has like 200 hours on it now. Here's my question, I figured out my JVC DLA-G150CL was just getting hot and cleaned the filter out and its been running fine since. I know have though, the other JVC pj and am trying to figure out which one to keep or which one is the better pj for a novice. I'm guessing that both are OK for just watching HD TV and sporting events along with DVD's but I don't want to make a mistake and get rid of the wrong pj. Can anyone give me some in-sight as to which pj would be better to keep in my HT? Also, will my faroudja NRS 1365x1025 processor work OK on the SX21U?

Any advise or help will be GREATLY appreciated!!! I know these are not "Top-Of-The Line" projectors but I just want to keep the better of the two!

Pros and cons to each. The SX21 is newer and slightly higher resolution. It is also smaller and quieter. The G150 was a higher end piece for it's day, and probably has truer colors (Xenon lamp helps with that). I think you'll be the only one who can make the decision. I would set them both up and see what your eyes tell you.
