Hello,

I’ve ordered my chairs :D and I’m trying to figure out how deep to make my riser. Here is the info on my chairs:

Dimensions:

4 Seater Row: 146" x 39" x 40 3/4"

Seat depth 21"

Reclined clearance: 67"D fully reclined
When reclined the head rest is 29”(H)
Requires 9" wall clearance to fully recline
Requires 28" front clearance to fully recline

So if I add 21” deep + 9 from back wall + 28 front clearance to recline, it comes to 58” but the info says 67” fully reclined. So 67” would seem like the bare minimum. How much should I add to that for an isle? How deep would you guys recommend making my riser?

Thanks!

I'd go with 8' minimum to keep a couple feet from the back wall and have a few inches between the front of the chairs and the front row when reclinded.

Any theater we build has always been 8" depth. With most reclining chairs this will be the absolute minimum.
