I should have mine in about 20 minutes, I will let you know...
Robert D 09-26-07, 03:48 PM I think there may be a problem with this disc. My HD-XA2 has played every disc I throw at it but had issues with this disc. I got this on-screen message "Loading Disc" and this is the first time I have ever seen this on my display. Anyway it took a good three minutes to load and start the movie then it played all the way through .
Mine worked fine last night on my add-on.

I read on the internet that because HD-DVD has finalized specs this can never ever ever ever happen, so you guys must be doing something wrong...

So crack open an ice cold bud light!
cws_kahuna 09-26-07, 04:42 PM Mine worked on the first viewing on my 360 but I only tried it quickly to see if it would work. Now when I insert the disc, it reads, the screen goes black like it's gonna start, then it goes back to the system blade 360 screen. This is really bumming me out as I had skipping issues with this on my XA1, I ended up just watching the DVD side.
Drewbert 09-26-07, 04:51 PM FWIW it worked for me last night... hd and the dvd side
sivartk 09-27-07, 12:07 AM mine kind of worked on my HD-A2...but the big scratch on a newly purchased disc may have something to do with the fact that it would freeze at the 1hr 40 minute mark. Going to try an exchange....Wal-Mart only had one copy left when I bought it today.
Across the UPC they had written "delete" so who knows if they will ever get any more.
steven975 09-27-07, 12:56 AM my brother had a problem loading my copy on his 360, but he cleared the cookie (in the HD-DVD's storage NOT the 360's hard drive!) and all worked after that.
JaylisJayP 09-27-07, 12:57 AM gave it a test drive last night and no problems.
Worked just fine on my add on. Web enabled features worked, too.

I think the key is to wait for it to finish and not restart in the middle of the downloading (the Loading screen). With Heroes, I restarted at the loading screen and had issues and had to clear the cache and partial downloads. With Knocked Up I waited for it to finish and didn't have any problems.

Precisely. It just takes longer for it finish than you might expect. Just wait it out. If you do like I did and restart, the solution i posted will fix everything.
You can also just disable the network settings and it will load much quicker. If you want to use the internet enabled features though then you of course will have to let the "cookie "download so that everything will work.
Jay Mammoth 09-27-07, 09:01 AM Worked fine on my add-on.
Works fine, the long loading only happens the first time you boot it up.

Good idea. If it's just for the internet enabled features, I wish Universal would only download the "cookie" (11MB cookie???) only when you go into the Web Enabled Features menu the first time instead of doing it the first time the disc is viewed.
