I haven't seen this talked about on here, but Band of Brothers has some amazing scenes that show off your subwoofer and surround sound. The Carentan and Bastogne battles both have tons of explosions, bullets, and lots of surround action going on around you.

Funny, but I am halfway through watching that series again as I truly enjoy not only the story but the well mixed soundtrack. The only downside was that during the Bastogne episode, all the white scenes made me notice a color uniformity issue with my pj. DrPainMD has a sticky thread of DVD's with bass that should hold any bass-ho over for a little while.

I completely agree, I have this series on HD DVD and the SQ of the above mentioned scenes is unreal. Im running dual SVS PB12 Plus 2 subs paired with a VELO SMS-1. Awesome performance.
