I inadvertantly bent the male termination plug for my 15ft. HDMI cable. I didn't bend it much but enough to notice it was deformed. I did carefully bend it back to it's original position and it seems to be working fine, but I am curious if I caused some internal damage?

Just so you know......I cuased this by failing to properly plan for the amount of space I would have behind my HR20 in the equipment closet. I was hooking up some audio cables last night and when I pushed the unit back against the wall, the HDMI did not ride up the wall but instead curled and bent a little. :o

Well............do any of you guys think that HDMI port savers would work to alleviate this from happening again or is that not what the application is intended for?
