I need to buy another HDMI cable and I am just wondering if there is a difference in Video quality over the 1.3a and older HDMI cables? I will be hooking them up via the 360 and ps3. Thanks in Advance.

Not a 360 expert but if I am not mistaken the 360, even with its newest revisions, is still only 1.2 compliant. If the cable is running from the 360 to something else. I'd vote not to waste the money.

Essentially, if you are running a very short distance of 2 meters or less, you can purchase any HDMI cable and it should work. There are no such things as HDMI 1.3a cables. There are category 1 (1.65 Gb) and category 2 cables (3.4 Gb).
