Reading with interest the reviews coming in on the new VW-60.
I've seen no mention of any shading issues, (green or pink blobs / patches within the image), from any reviews.
As this plagued a lot of VW-50 - (Pearl) machines I was wondering if this issue has been resolved with the new projector?

Well first off not every VW50 had that problem. It was hit or miss. I suspect it will be the same with the VW60 since it is in the nature of this technology.
We'll have to see as more get out there.
I concur we need a larger sample size first. My unit has no shading issues checked by going thru solid color and gray full screen fields of different intestity on the DVE disk.
Hi Kemet. Same for me, I have absolutly no shading issue on my brand new Black pear. Check the Pics here :

Looking good.
My Pearl suffers from the shading problem and I find it very annoying. A good Black Pearl would definitely encourage me to upgrade.
I'll keep a look out for this area with future owner's comments on this forum, which should be appearing thick and fast, as the Black Pearl is now shipping.
