There are various petitions being campaigned for on each side of the BD/HD divide - vying to get the attention of studios in order to get more software (movies) on either format. Heck, even Bill Hunt now has a campaign going to get people to demand that Warner stop producing Combo discs (which one would expect, since Combos are an HD secret weapon :) )

So, since this is the software discussion topic, I thought it'd be good to get peoples thoughts on these campaigns.

Who here believes that a coordinated effort can help spread the word on issues of desires regarding the HD formats and movies?

Who has joined a campaign, or not, and why?

This is a non-public poll, so don't worry about your name or vote being seen...

Multiple choice.

Who voted for the first 3 options?

Multiple choice - vote for as many as apply. So you can join, even if you "think" they work, but are not "sure".

Possible studio monetary gain from release schedules games > customer satisfaction from responding to petitions.

Angel, Veronica Mars and the Bluth family will tell you that petitions don't do squat.
