hows everyone doing?.. got a quick question.. today i went to a yard sale and found this hitachi c2-f300b for $50.. so i said ok, whatever no big deal.. i got it home hooked it up to my comcast hi-def box with my componet cables and when i turned on the tv the screen is split in 3 pieces and all wavy.. you can tell the picture is there because you can see it through the waves its just not clear.. so i hooked up an s-video cable and the picture is perfect you just cant access the guide menu from the comcast box.. does anyone have any idea why my components aren't working.. i have a 61 in and a 57 in in my other rooms and have never had this problem before.. thanks guys

I'd say the projector doesn't accept that kind of signal.

You have a direct view television. Try that forum. The component input processing circuit is likely broken.
