Hey guys, longtime lurker, first time poster. I bought the Belkin PureAV 3x1 HDMI switch with an HDMI to DVI cord to my TV to replace the old timey push button one I've been using. After hooking it up, not only did it not work, now none of the components I plugged into it will work (PS3, Oppo upconverting player, Comcast DVR). I tried unplugging everything and plugging it back in to no avail. Plugging my TV directly into any of them doesn't solve the problem either. Any ideas? I can't believe $1000 worth of equipment is now going to be relegated to the trash heap because of a stupid switch.

Did you try calling Belkin? Sounds add that a swith would do all that, but i guess anything is possible.

I'm going to move this to the HDMI forum where you may get better exposure (and it's the correct forum).

I hope that shorted pins in the switch wouldn't cause your problem. Sure seems fishy that none of the components now work into the TV with no switch at all.
