I've had the Mitsubishi 65732 for about 5 Months now. Love it. Recently though, a "blurry" vertical band has appeared along the left edge of the screen. It begins about 2-3 inches from the left edge and extends about 5-6 inches, running from the top of the screen to the bottom. Additionally, the upper left hand corner of the screen appears overly bright and "washed out" when viewing light colored and/or bright programming.

When dark bands are present, color (especially light colors) from programming "bleeds" into the band on the left of the screen, but doesn't appear to do so on the right side of the screen.

My wife frequently listens to one of the digital music channels provided by our broadcaster, during which the picture on the screen is relatively static (Channel Logo, song/artist info, etc.) and includes dark bands on both sides of the set. Burn in? After reading through the forum, it's still not entirely clear to me whether this is or is not a possibilty with DLP sets. Any other ideas as to what may cause this and, more importantly, how to remedy it?

Most viewing is through Scientific Antanta HD Tuner/DVR hooked up via component cables.

The set is under warranty, so I'm close to scheduling a service call. Any thoughts before I do so? Thanks all.

I would see if it has this prob from other inputs and devices to isolate it to TV or not. I don't believe DLPs can burn in ,like you said.
