I think since the BDA and Sony were fairly absent at the New York show this week, they'll probably have lots of "presentations" saved up for CEATEC.
I just hope it's not filled with lies and misrepresentations like their presentation in China this week... http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=915978

HD DVD has a nice big booth, showing something new -- an alpine player for the car. Otherwise, only saw players from Toshiba.
BD also has a nice big booth.
Sony booth is incredible...

Hey,
The data I've seen could have been made up but it showed Japan with like 90% Blu Ray and China with like 90% HD DVD,.. pretty well segregated. I saw some graphs but can't remember just where, but I thought they seemed dubious anyway.
