I've been running Ubuntu - Gutsy for approximately a month and updated all of my packages last night. Today while watching football, myth backend crashed 3 times. Has anyone else noticed the backend being flaky after upgrading Gutsy packages? Also, what log file can I check to figure out what's going on?

Haven't tried Gutsy much yet, but I've been having some problems with my (MythTV 0.20.2) back end on Feisty. As a result I just installed monit:

Haven't tested it yet due to a program starting right after it was installed a few minutes ago.
I tried gutsy but couldn't make it past the installer. Went back to Feisty instead - so far so good!
*Fingers crossed* :)

Maybe this is a little late but Gutsy isn't even released yet. You are using a beta OS. I would be surprised it was stable.
It is due for release sometime next week (around Oct. 18th)
