I'm trying to mount a kaku slimline dish somehow on my apartment balcony, which is 90 inches high. I'm wondering what kind of supplies I would need to pole mount it. I would only have 30 inches clearance for the dish, would that be enough? I saw the dimensions and they are 22" but i'm not sure if that includes the J-MAST or not.

I've heard people say they've used a 5 foot pole in a 5 lb bucket filled with 80 lbs of concrete for the 3 lnb dishes, but i'm not quite sure if that will hold the slimline.

My D* installer is coming out Wednesday, and i'm hoping to have it complete before he gets here.

PLEASE HELP!

You can do the pole in a bucket of concrete with the slimline.

would you happen to know what size bucket, and how many lbs of concrete?

Try re-reading your original post. You answered your questions in the question itself.

I think you meant 5 gallon bucket, not 5 lb., which gives no indication of size.
