AVS Forum Opens New Marketplace for both Members and Dealers

Press Release - Oct. 1, 2007

AVS Forum, the internet's largest on-line Home Theater community with 6 million unique visitors a month, has now opened a new marketplace. http://marketplace.avsforum.com

The AVS Marketplace is open for free listings to AVS Club members or can be used with a small free that ranges currently from $1 to $5 for member listings.

The AVS Marketplace also allows, for the first time, dealers to get involved by offering specials direct to the site visitors at only $100 per listing.

The items offered by the sellers can be listed as a direct sale, with buy it now or contact seller, or as an auction. PayPal is used to process the transactions. Each item can be listed with multi photos and the choice of on-line comments/replies to the ad or the seller can be contacted via e-mail via Contact Seller box. Seller feedback is also part of the system.

Having just a soft release over the weekend, the AVS Marketplace already has 160 product offerings listed by members and dealers at the time of this release.

"The new marketplace now allows for the members and dealers to reach a very large audience with a feature rich platform. Sales seem to happen very quickly based on the traffic to AVS Forum. It is a very targeted audience." said David Bott of AVS Forum.
