I have searched high and low and could not find a solution to my issue:
I have a lot of xvid's (I record regular TV (from Astra) in Germany, then send it across to my home in the US to watch). About 10% of them have wrong aspect ratio flags (that usually happens when the ratios change multiple times in the MPEG-2 stream that I convert using autogk).
I cannot find a way to easily change the aspect ratio on the DSM-510 during playback.
Prior to the DSM-510 I used a MG-35 (picture quality of the DSM-510 is much much better) - there was an aspect ratio button that allowed me to override the ratio on the file and display as expected. I cannot find such a function on the DSM-510. Am I blind? Or is it missing? (if the later does anyone have a recommendation for a tool that can just rewrite the aspect ratio flags (there may be multiples) in an xvid file?
