I'm in the market for a HDTV, been here gathering info and trying to educate myself on all things HD. I stopped by Tweeter and was discussing Sony tv's, XBR2 and XBR5, the Associate said they just got e-mail from Sony and that XBR5 was being cancelled. I know it may not be true but just passing along the info.

Check the specs on the KDS-60A3000: Full HD 1080p, Motionflow™ 120Hz, BRAVIA Engine™ EX, 12-bit SXRD chip, x.v.Color™ capability, Deep Color (HDMI v1.3 option), 1080/24p input capable, PhotoTV HD. Pretty much a XB5.

If you would like to read up on this, just go to the "High road source for XBR5 models Thread", has been a lot of talk about this the last 2 weeks or so.
