When do all the rumors, speculation and threats to leave D* if they dont go up on a non existent launch date begin?

Seriously, any poop on the next wave?

They've only said "October" for the next batch. Don't expect them to pre-announce a specific date this time - there's no need to.

There have been DirecTV ads in newspapers claiming MHD will be live by October 8th.

I would say in 29 days we should have them

NHL starts tomorrow. We need those RSNs in HD...

I think that they will have wave two in the first week of October, and then the three wave at the end of the month, just in time for the start of the new NBA season.

Scott at Satguys is reporting that tomorrow morning will be another batch.

Woohoo! I hope so. I am still pretty sated (?) or is sate with the first 21.
RSN's would be cool with hoops coming up soon.

I'm more interested in which channels than how many.

USA, MGM, National Geographic, MHD, Cinemax, Cinemax West, Outdoor Channel 2HD, and a couple of RSNs are listed in HD on zap2it.com.

My top 5:

Not yet, but most of these won't launch until the day they are launched by D* - so we likely wouldn't see them show up in advance.

Even though it is not listed, my top pick would be FSN Midwest for local St. Louis Blues hockey games.

Sci Fi, USA, and F/X would be nice. I hope none of these will be like TBS.

Not sure why you guys all want FOOD. Must be the better half. I also have E***, and IMHO, Food is nothing to write home about.

I am very surprised that Cinemax was not in the first wave if for no other reason than economics.

I want, NO, I DEMAND, that FX be included in the next wave. With NIP-TUCK coming soon, and the SHIELD and RESCUE ME next year FX may be my favorite channel.

Different strokes is all. Honestly I'd say the same thing about medical soap operas. I really just don't get it.

New channels up. Comparable pq to first wave on those showing HD now. DirecTV site shows 27 channels now with "lots more to come."
