Can someone explain to me why I can legally download, store and replay any audio track but because of royalities due to the movie artists, its against the law to transfer and store all my DVDs to a video server, i.e Kaleidoscope, for my personal use. Yet, I can download some, (not all) movies to my I-pod. Double standard?

Not sure, but how does this relate to this forum?!
