Hello - I am mounting my 37" Visio in the cubbie hole above my fireplace. I need it to pull out 28" from the wall for optimum viewing. The only mount I have found that comes out that far is the UCL-X - I called Omnimount and they said it wouldn't operate correctly since it is too light and wouldn't recommend it.

Would it work? Downsides?

According to my calculations - the TV would be large enough to have no part of the UCL-X showing.

I bought a scatch and dent UCL-X from Techforless.com for $133- the scratches were on pieces for larger LCD's so it was pefect for me. It is like new and fits my 37" Vizio just fine. Now my tv pushes back 22" into the cubbie hole and we play DVD art - and pulls out for when we watch it.
