I heard today that the Berkline 086 is now discontinued.
Can anyone confirm this?
The 086 was great because like the 088 (the 088 is still available), it was the 'narrower' of the Berkline line of home theater seating.
If the 086 is discontinued, has anyone heard any buzz on any other models being shelved?

The 086 is an active group as of now and can be ordered. This groups has the exact same dimensions as the popular 088 which is also still active. I have heard that that 45009 will be discontinued soon, but Berkline is also unveiling several new Home Theater groups at the Furniture Market in High Point, SC this week.

From what I know the 086 group is not being discontinued. The style groups, which will be discontinued by the end of the year are: 073, 194, 40009, 40010.

I will know more after I come back from Market at High Point in a couple of days...

Thanks, I heard it 'through the grapevine', was told the 086 was no longer listed on the newest Berkline pricelist to thier dealers.

Hmm... We were just given new price lists, and the 086 is definitely included in the pricing. The 086 is NOT being discontinued. I even had Berkline confirm this earlier today.

Yes, you're right, Kyle. I also checked with Berkline and the 086 is alive and well. Here is the official list of Groups being dropped. rsh had a typo on two of the groups as there are no 40009 and 40010 groups (in home theater anyway).

Dropped: 073, 194, 45009, 45010

Berkline has added some nice looking new groups as well.

Added: 45015, 45016, 45018, 13134, 13174, 13175

I have been pretty impressed with the 13134 and the 13174. Not so much about the 13184, though. I wish it had a backrest more like the 13134 instead of the "088 wannabe" look. Or maybe I'm just being too critical.

Now that the 075 model has been discontinued {I dont know why they would loose there best looking chair but...}

Does anyone know if there are any other 2 tone models available through them? a friend of mine loves my chairs and when I went looking for them earlier I noticed I cant get them for him.

Nope, no more two tone style groups.

I just ordered 8 chairs from 086 group about 2 weeks ago. They will be ready for delivery in 3 weeks. Fantastic prices from Serge.

Yes, the 13134 is available with dealers that order the seats and stock them. Otherwise you are probably looking at a lead time of 10-16 weeks. I can go into more detail offline if you would like to send me a PM.
