I can't figure this thing out. Example, family guy has reruns on a couple different stations and for some reason the season pass doesnt always work. It will record some episodes and not others. Even if that season pass is priority 1. I've checked and its set to record both new and old episodes. So what gives? Am I the only one having this problem? Seems to be mostly probablematic on shows on multiple stations, but happens with other shows as well.

Season passes only record from a single channel (the channel they are created on).

If you want to record from multiple channels, you need to create a wishlist. Create a wishlist with a title keyword of "Family Guy." Tell it to record both new and old episodes.

Remember the Tivo keeps a record of all episodes you've recorded in the past 28 days, so it won't record the same episode twice in that same timeframe, assuming each episode had guide information to differentiate it from others.
