I flipped on the guide at 10:50 CT and Food Network HD was on 231-1. It had guide data at least a week ahead and was on long enough for me to delete my Season Passes on 231 and re-set them up on 231-1 for Boy Meets Grill and Throwdown.
Anyone else catch this? Anyone know when this is going live?
It is a good sign that this channel was on tonight I am sure.

Yeah, I have been watching FOOD HD on DISH for the past 6 months. Check out Dave Lieberman and Paula.....good shows.
Am I the only one who saw and/or watched this last night?
I think it is strange that they were broadcasting this last night for at least a few minutes and it wasn't one of the additions this morning.
The show that was being broadcast last night had kids outside making moonpies. Then all of a sudden the show stopped and a how to work your DirecTV reciever show was on -- then I could not get back to FoodHD.

It's just a test channel..

It was there and I even added it to my favorites. I was surprised if it was "just a test channel" why it was in its expected slot, not in the 9300 or 9301 slots.

I saw it last night on channel 231-1 as well. I think it was a Michael Chiarello show or something. It disappeared from the guide at midnight ET.
As noted in the D* new HD channel topic above, Food HD was briefly available, and then it was removed. I'm going to close this topic, please continue further discussion in the topic at the top, thanks.
