Hey guys was playing warhawk last night, took me forever to get on a server, without it being full even though the same server kept coming up 3 of 24.

anyways, last night playing on a server my ps3 just froze.

My ps3 is very well ventilated nothing blocking any of the vents.

Is this a problem with the game? or is my ps3 dying on me. I have a 1 year with ebgames which comes up in november.

relax, every console ever made has frozen at least a few times, no nothing is broken, and warhawk has been known to freeze every once in a great while

well that depends on if you think the features of the 60 gig are worth while over what you already have, if your just looking for more space than you can upgrade the hd to a much larger one easily

My PS3 has froze on Warhawk a couple of times. I think it is software not hardware though. It has never frozen on me watching a movie and only once in 100's of hours of resistence. Yet I have 3 EA games (NFS, NHL 08, MADDEN 08) that have all froze too.

In the last 3-4 days I've frozen up in Warhawk twice...1st experience, and it was in unranked/non dedicated servers. Never had that problem since launch, but then I've been in dedicated servers 99.99% of the time. Server type could be a coincidence, but the hardware is unharmed.

Yet I have 3 EA games (NFS, NHL 08, MADDEN 08) that have all froze too.

I've got the same EA titles and the only issue I've had was one game in NHL 08: started up fine, picked the team, made strategy changes and advanced to the action only to find no sound. Re-launched NHL 08 it was fine, hasn't happened since.

As far as Warhawk goes, it's actually the only game that has froze my PS3. Only happened once during that first buggy week following it's release, nothing since though. Consoles will freeze from time to time, as long as it's not any every day occurence your fine

To the OP... did you have a demo or anything trying to download in the background? If so you may want to pause it while you are playing Warhawk... I know that this worked for someone else.

I've had 3 buddies and I freeze at the exact same time in the same game(Warhawk). We all had to power off the PS3 and restart. We have never had it happen during any other game online or not. Definitely software related.

Demos (or anything else from the PS store) wont DL while playing a online game. Warhawk is the issue. It happens. Nowhere near the amount of crashes that the Beta testers (ME) went through. Any number of things can cause a crash...just a part of this online game I guess.

Whats up with it tonight? Froze 4 games in a row on me tonight.
