Hey guys,
I have the Panasonic TH-42PD60U 42" Plasma EDTV which has served me well since I got it about 2 years ago. I have found a really good price locally on the TH-50PX77U that is very tempting (about $1250). Do you guys think it is worth splurging and getting the upgrade or should I just wait until I cannot stand the EDTV anymore? Also, how much do you think I could sell the 42" EDTV for?

Thanks for the input.

I'm considering doing the exact same thing right now. I have the 42" commercial version TH-42pwd7uy and was hoping I could get $800ish for it (with stand & HDMI module). Not sure though.

Where'd you find the TH-50PX77U for $1250 anyway? It's at LEAST $1500 shipped from the lowest priced online merchant (with coupons).

There is a local store that has that price. Not sure they ship or anything. Kind of a small local joint.

Also, what do you think would be the best place to sell the EDTV? Craigslist or Ebay?

The prices ffor used plasmas on craigslist are just absurdly high, so maybe that's the way to go. I don't know if the TV are actually selling, though, since craigslist doesn't keep records of sale prices like ebay.
