View Full Version : Very Inexpensive Scaler?

I potentially have a need for a very inexpensive scaler. I have 2 CD changers that have video out for artist, title, track information. I am feeding this composite video into a B&K HD6 for whole house distribution of video so that I can see what's what on the CD changers. The B&K transcodes the composite signal to component but doesn't alter the resolution. It works great on pretty much every monitor in the house. I recently purchased a Gateway 22" widescreen computer monitor that has an HD component input. All the HD signals going through the HD 6 work great on this monitor but the CD changers constantly flicker off and on - very annoying and useless. I'm guessing it's due to the resolution being fed from the changers. So, I was wondering if a very inexpensive scaler would upscale the resolution enough that it would work on this monitor?

I would like to add that I have a door camera that is outputting 480i and it works fine on the Gateway through the HD6.

Thanks,

John
