I am experiencing electrical humming noise thru my audio system caused by dimmers I'm using in my theater setup. The noise is only eliminated when the dimmer(s) are fully turned on or off (i.e., noise is introduced when there is partial dimming of lighting). Will a line conditioner help in this situation? Thanks for any advice.:(:(:(

Possibly, but a better, cheaper cure would be to get a different dimmer switch. They will all make some noise but some are less noisy than others.

I'd suggest asking this question again in the dedicated theater forum as you'll find more people with more experience there.
