As you may know, I've been looking all over for somewhere that'll make signs that'll stand up on their own, be legible and be attractive, and because of the number of prop I have on display, fairly economical.

Ken over at Stargate Cinema came up with an engraved acrylic sign with a black backing for under $15 per for a 4" X 2". I personally think they rock.

While I'm well aware this thread is unless without pictures, the acrylic doesn't lend itself to flash photography. A photographer friend is taking some pictures in her studio and I'll post the results as soon as I get them.

If you've been collecting props and you want visitors to know just what the heck they're looking at, dis' is the stuff.

The signs photograph blue from the front although they're black.

Wow! Those are nice! I bet they look real good in front of your displays.

I've tried taking pictures of them in the displays but the acrylic just plays havoc with the flash (thus the outside picture). If you don't mind some glare in the pictures, I'll be happy to photograph 'em.

Yeah I don't mind the glare.

BTW, I believe she doesn't suspect what these props cost. Which is good. Very good.
