One of my new Showtime Coaster recliner seats seems to have an issue. I don't notice this is ANY of the other 4 Coaster seats from the set:
When I sit on it, I feel the bottom of the seat plummet down by about 1/2 inch to maybe 1 inch, with an audible 'clunk'. This happens only when in locked position (unreclined).
If I grab the whole seat and try to move it, it is rock solid (so, seems the seat is definitely level against the floor). If I grab only the bottom cushion piece where you sit, I can move it up/down by 0.5-1 inch and reproduce the clunk.
I think this is something in the reclining system not completely engaged or calibrated. Do any of the Coaster vendors out there know if there is a fix for this?
