I know that this thread (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=10367407&&#post10367407) discusses this game, but my question is more specific. I live in Dallas and my guide shows that I should be getting KU@KSU, then the Pac-10 game, then the oSu@A&M game in HD on channel 96. Well, right now I'm getting a DirecTV logo on this channel instead of the KU@KSU game and am afraid that I won't get the oSu@A&M game on the channel tonight, either. I called D* customer service and they had absolutely no clue what I was even asking, much less how to answer the question (and I talked to 2 different people in the course of a 33 minute conversation)!

Some folks in Houston (via TexAgs (http://www.texags.com)) are saying they're getting KU@KSU on 96, which seems odd since I'm not getting it in Dallas. While on the phone with D* I had them add the Sports Pack, and it did nothing to change the situation. Long story short, I don't want to miss the HD version of the game if I can get it, but don't want to Tivo 4 hours of D* logo and miss the game if I can't get it on 96. The whole FSN thing is confusing, and adding D* into the equation doesn't exactly help.

The KU/KSU game was available nationally on CSN Chicago channel 640 as will the PAC-10 ASU/WSU game. Unfortunately they won't be carrying the OK State/TX A&M game due to hockey.

My Comcast guide here in Seattle shows the OSU A&M game on HD #664 following the Wazzu ASU game on now. (Looks great. First HD game ever at Pullman.)

DallasAtty, this is the same thing that happened a couple of weeks ago for the Texas-Rice game. It was on 96 in HD, people in Houston were getting it in HD, but we here in Dallas were getting a blank screen. I hope I'm wrong, because I would like to see it in HD also, but I'm betting Dallas folks are going to get screwed again on this. The Dallas Stars-Bruins game was on 96 Friday night, and even on THAT game, I had nothing but a bank screen. I really dont understand this at all, and all I can do is hope that when FSNSW goes national this will be cleared up.

i had the same thing last night trying to watch the stars. i did get to watch it on 96 though. i kept flipping back and forth between 95 and 96 and 96 would eventually come on. today i tried to watch the KSU game. getting the same blank screen. i tried to do the flipping again and it kinda worked. i would get a still photo from the game with music playing. never got the football game to work. the PAC-10 game is not there. i do know that it was on 640, but it seems there is a problem on 96 for the Dallas area. its weird, just a blank screen. no D*TV logos or nothing, just blank. guess we'll see what happens at 6:30.

I'm in College Station and whenever I punch in 96 I get 'channel not available'.

I am in houston and I am getting blank screen on channel 96

D* needs to get their act together on this. The last thing I got from them (on my 3rd call) was that the folks in Houston got it because it was "spot beamed" to Houston but not Dallas. Like there's a magical laser beam in outerspace that is pointed in the general vicinity of Harris County. These people are obviously clueless about even the most basic satellite TV operation, so how are they supposed to be of any use to me?

I had blank screen on 96 but the AtM v OSU game was on 643 in SD. I had the whole Stars on Friday night in HD on 96 with no issues. I'm in Dallas as well. Weird.

The game recorded for me on 96 with Houston locals. That stinks they couldn't get it working for the D/FW area.

The A&M game was on Comcast in Seattle on FSN Pacific and in HD on #664 Mojo, a catch-all HD station.
