I have a Hitachi pjx-100 that i've recently installed on my ceiling,im using a hdmi cable with a plug in dvi adapter off of the back of the unit,my problem is with my hi-def channels i'm now getting a resolution of 1920 x 540 and the image is bigger now than before, with the watermarks on the screen cut off and the scrolling tables on news channels lost.I've tried changing my settings on my projector and my hi-def satellite receiver with no luck..could this be a problem with my dvi adaptor?I didn't have this problem before when i was using component cables....any help would be appreciated

The DVI-HDMI adaptor would 'not' cause this. Any time the image 'outcrops' the 16-9 screen it is always an aspect ratio 'zoom' issue.
Any way to post a screen shot to show the forum members?

You don't have an HD receiver - 480i/480p is not HD. Time to upgrade.
