I'm trying to get a good slim camera, and I'm looking at the Sony Cybershots. I'm looking at the T-20, T-70, T-100, and T-200 models. I'm trying to as cheap as possible, but if the performance between them is worth it for the price, I'll go. Beyound 5 MP, it's hard to notice a difference between 8, 9, 10, etc.

Can someone direct me to the Digital Cameras section? I looked and only found camcorders.

Not much digital still talk around here. dpreview is probably a much better place to try. Not that intelligent people don't have opinions on Digital cameras here, but most of the talk here is about camcorders...

I prefer the canon still cameras myself and don't have an opinion on the Sonys...

I, too, prefer Canon still cameras and have no knowledge of Sonys.

I have the 800IS and the S3IS.

The 800 is small and has a great wide angle on the low end of the zoom as well as Optical Image Stabilization. The S3IS is larger and has a 12 to 1 zoom. The low end is not wide angle enough. It also has OIS. The S3IS has an articulating LCD that allows one to get very high/low shots more easily.
The S3IS has been superceded (and I wish I had delayed my purchase by 4 months :( ) by the S5IS. The S5IS has a larger LCD screen and 8 megapixel pics instead of 6. The S3IS can be gotten for $200 - $250 if one shops around and it's more than worth it.
All IMO.

Steve's Digicams (http://www.steves-digicams.com/) is another place to check out cameras.

I have had all Canons point and shoot digital cameras.
My friends have had Kodak, Sony, Fuji, Casio... and none even come close to the quality of the Canon. All were about the same class of camera.
Actually the Canon was on the lowend of the canon line.

The picture quality difference was astounding.

The Canon really excelled in lowlight situations and showed very little to no noise. Outdoor scenes were sharp and captured the colours.

If I could rank the ones I've seen..
Canon 10/10

.
Sony 7/10
Fuji 6.5
Casio 6
Kodak 5
