I am looking at installing at least 2 Acoustic Panels on the Ceiling, over my main speakers. What can you use to install them to the ceiling. Would it be best to flush mount them, or drop them a bit, for better bass absorption. I figure by the time this project is completed I may be killed by the wife, after installing panels all over the living room, so please provide ideas that my prolong my life.

Thanks in advance.

I am a fan of the RotoFast units which come in various versions depending on what you need to mount where.

I have achieved excellent results with double sided tape.

I put up a ceiling panel:

The bones before adding 2 inches of linacoustic and covering with fabric:

It's held up with two screws through the back edge and Locktite constuction adhesive on the rest.
