I have an external HD (USB) with over 83,000 MP3s on it. I'm interested in finding some type of hardware solution that would do the following:

1) Connect to my AVR via digital coax or optical

2) Connect to my external HD via USB 2.

3) Connect to my TV via S-video or composite so that all file manipulation can be done on the TV rather than on some type of built-in display on the unit.

I don't want my PC involved. I don't care about anything other than music files. I don't want (need) anything wireless. I've tried using two different DVD players with USB connections but they both had limits on the number of files/folders they could handle (and these limits were FAR below the 83,000+ MP3s I have on the HD).

Unfortunately I don't know much at all about the availability of the type of device I'm looking for. Sorry in advance if this turns out to be a real newb question. I have tried searching with my requirements but since I don't actually know what this type of device would be called, I haven't been successful (I have found some devices that seem to be able to do FAR more than I needed though).
