I currently use a HTPC with a Holo3d card and Mike Parker modded Radeon connected to a Barco Retrographics 808s rear projection unit
My sources are TViX Media Player (I use S-Video but it has HDMI out), component out from a 10' BUD (SD & HD) and tomorrow I get a DirecTV HD DVR.
I may keep the BUD or, if the DirecTV signal is satisfactory, dump it because of the DVR.
I think it may be time for the Holo3d setup to be replaced by a VP - which one would you guys recommend?
I am looking mostly for improved picture quality from the DirecTV HD DVR
