So, righ after yelling at the screen due to the upteenth comershal break in heros last night, the Marquee wend dark, and I did catch a slight bluring of the image a split second before the image disapeared... now there is the h-fail light on the back of the unit and no picture...

this morning, after conferming the condition, I reseated the board between the blue and creen CRT (this is the h-defeection board, correct?)

still no go.

That is the right board, I can test and attempt fixing it or replace for you, send a pm or e.mail.

Josh try pulling that module completely out and cleaning the contact pins to the small daughterboard on the bottom ofthe card, the one held on with a small plastic screw. If that doesn't do it then i'm sure Tim has something. After 10 years the HDM should be serviced anyway, next to the HVPS it is one of the hardest working boards in there.

Unfortunatly, reseating the daughter board did not seem to help

still nothing.
