I'm looking at some Bjork recliners from http://www.lafer.com.br. They are pretty pricey @$1,400ea and I want four. I can't find any info or reviews about them anywhere on the web. I'd hate to get them home only to find out after a few months they are falling to pieces. I really like the style and can't find anything close to them.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Take a look at the Ekornes Stressless chairs. They have a similar look and are more widely distributed in the US.

The store we are shopping at carries those chairs too. The "Dept of Treasury" doesn't like the separate foot rest.
It is interesting that Ekornes is the only chair given approval by the American Chiropratic Association. ALso both those brands listed above have chairs that aren't anything like typical heavily padded, fluffy american chairs. It seems as though maybe "real" comfort isn't how soft or padded a chair is, but rather how it well it fits to ones body and relieves stress points. Kind of like a firm mattress compared to a soft one.
