The first four have a very good chance of being released domestically so I am going to be patient. I recently picked up U-571, The Island, Lucky Number Slevin and Face/Off. All three look and sound awesome with the exception being that U-571 was incorrectly labelled as having an aspect ratio of 2:40 when I believe it is open matte 1.85.

1. Starship Troopers - average PQ, sounds good though
3. Air force one - ditto
4. The Rock - better PQ and great audio

'Starship Troopers' PQ has very good. Definitely better than 'average'. Better than the hi-def satellite MPEG2 capture I also have & noticeably better than the SuperBit DVD. My display is a 106" DLP front projection, so I can see the extra details in the BD compared to the DVD.

How is the PQ & AQ of Face Off and U-571? Can you be a little more details?
Any grain in those titles?

Pros : Excellent black levels and shadow detailing, Good Color Saturation
Cons : Post processing sharpening of Image in few scenes, some scenes tend to look soft

Perfect channelization of sounds

1. Starship Troopers : Great picture and fantastic Sound......WOW..

2. Con Air : Picture not that great; has a huge grainproblem throughout the movie, Sound is great though.

3. Air force one : Just like ST a winner with great picture and sound.

4. The Rock : I agree with you very good release.

Crimson Tide also looks great ; better than Con Air imo.

Con Air : PQ - 4.5 / 5 - PQ extremely sharp but suffers from EE and noise.

Air Force One : PQ - 3.5 / 5 [Minus 0.25 for the dancing opening credits / Picture looks soft and flat, some scenes were sharp - in-flight scenes tend to look hazy owing to the consistent smoke layer], SQ - 10/5

The Rock : PQ - 4.5/5 [Slight grain] , SQ - 4.5 / 5 (Nothing great nothing bad either)

Starship troppers looks like the version I saw in the theaters, nothing to complain at all.

supposedly The Rock coming to the US in jan has a 24bit pcm track instead of the 16bit on the UK BD. kinda makes me wanna up double dip, but i spent nearly $40 on the UK copy.

I have Starship Troopers as well, and the picture and sound are great, worth the $40 I spent. Much better than the SD-DVD IMO.

I believe you are referring to Kungfu hustle and not Shaolin soccer . PQ and SQ is quite good for the japanese version. Infernal Affairs PQ is grainy and soft . SQ is good.
