Using my new SR8. Quality not as good as the FX1E, but hey it's light.

MY PROBLEM
using picture motion browser I can download the m2ts files but picture motion brower cannot play them or view them.

I can import and view them in pinnacle Studio 11. But I like the easy of use of Picture motion browser its calendar function.

Sony support tell me that I need to approach the PC manufacturer for the codec :confused:! Surely the codec is supplied with Picture Motion Browser v 2.1.00.04170

Anyone Help?

I have the exact problem with u. I phoned to the sony technical hotline, but the support is useless. Can someone help me as well? thx!

I have now found the problem.

I had downloaded a codec pack from someone. The codecs clashed with the SONY one.

I removed the codec pack through "add/remove programs"

now all working fine
