I'm not sure if this is the best place for this question, but I have a Motorola DCT3416 connected through an Integra DTR 7.7 to a Pioneer PDP-5080HD. Whenever I change channels or use a trick play mode (FF/rew, skip, pause, etc.) the plasma loses "sync" with the signal, needs to re-acquire the signal, determine the resolution, and re-display the input and resolution mode selection. This makes doing things like fast forwarding through commercials nearly impossible.

Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a solution or a specific piece of equipment in the signal chain that may be the culprit?

Did you try connecting the Moto stb directly to the plasma?

Yes... subjectively, it seems that the problem gets better, but it definitely still exists.

Is there any way to lock the Moto box to a resolution? I think that may help, so neither the AVR nor the plasma has to re-sync when changing channels.
