Just wondering what your opinions would be about this screen with a single G90. I actually have two G90s but a stack just seems to be getting further and further away from reality.

Just curious.

Thanks!

Chill dog. We are going to get you up and running. :)

But yes, Arli has one and it's awesome for a single CRT. He's pumping about 11 foot lamberts with his 10PG.

Doc,

get the ultramatte 200 - it looks very nice and walks all over the silver 3D.
I know as I tested both :)

The Ultramatte will give you about double the brightness of a single projector - combine that with a little curve to the screen and you will be abe to set everything up for zero colorshift.

The silver 3D has a very nasty structure to it and in fact Stewart does not recommend it for CRT projectors at all. I was interested in it because it has a max gain of 3.2 but even at a distance of 5m it had an annoying structure to it plus iirc it was 30% more expensive than the other Stewart fabrics.

Whoops, read the thread title WRONG. It's the SILVERSTAR that Arli has. :D

Sorry.

Thanks! If anyone is interested in it for a different project, it can be found on the Pheonix Craigslist for a song. I ran into a bit of bad luck, but thanks to Cliffy and Arli, I've got my game-face back and am in pursuit of stacked bliss!!
