Please, please, PLEASE let this mean that Sunshine is getting a BD release. Even if it was 40 million dollars and had no extras like other Fox BDs, I'd buy this one in a heart beat. Loved it in theatres.

It's coming out on 12/21 in Japan if you can't wait for a US release.

There is also a BD trailer for Sunshine on hollywoodinhighdef.com :)

I'm looking forward to this movie. I've heard great things about it.

Yes but FOX enforces region codes. The trailer looked spectacular though. It is going to look amazing in Blu...throw in a DTS Master Audio track...im THERE! The movie is pretty good as well.

Japan is Region A.... the US is Region A

Region coding is not a problem in this case. :)

^^
Both Japan and the US are the same region anyway; 'Region A'.

November 7th in Sweden and probably rest of scandinavia!

Love this movie. One of the few movies today that REALLY makes use of the 2.35:1 scope ratio just like the movies used to back in the 50:s-80:s.
Totally amazing as I´m a huge fan of that ratio.

This one is gonna look awesome on the hometheater screens.

Most movies today has a very dull framing with nothing to really make use of the wider area.

Another thing is the amazing trailer that just scratches the surface of the movie and don´t show it all. THIS is how trailers should be, and not show EVERYTHING.

Danny Boyle really knows how to make a true cinematic experience.

I know many didn´t like the movie, probably because of the slower pace and not containing lasers and explosions every 5 minutes ;)

Guess most mainstream movie goers don´t like to think anymore. NOT for the ADD generation ;)

I was able to see this in theaters and thought it was very good, at least until the final 15 minutes. The effects should look amazing in 1080p. I'm glad we'll be getting a BD release. I had no idea the trailer was on the 28 Weeks BD. I'll have to put that back in and check it out.

Its on the 28 Days BD, not 28 Weeks.

That probably explains why I didn't see it. :)

Please, please, PLEASE let this mean that Sunshine is getting a BD release.

The section on the 28 Days Later disc where this trailer is located is called "Fox on Blu-ray" so I'd say it's definitely in the works/planned.

Just watched that BD and the Sunshine trailer last night and thought the same. Can't wait to check it out!

I sure hope this makes it out. I saw it in Seattle and unfortunately it was only playing in a REALLY crappy theater. It was painful to watch. Great movie though.
