In this weeks Futureshop flyer, it mentions that all Disney blu-rays are Buy one Get one free.

A few I would be interested in aren't showing up as part of the deal (reign of fire) but I'll try to argue it instore :)

someone on another forum bought that with another title and they actually PAID for the cheaper of the two and got that one for free.

I can pick from other disney titles as well correct? I've already got both POTC...

I've got to try another location to get Reign of Fire but I got Invincible and Ladder 49 (Ladder isn't listed on the site, so I'm hoping Reign will work too). Decent enough, I know a lot of people got these titles in the 5 free deal, but I missed out of that because I bought my ps3 on ebay and didn't ever get a 'valid' receipt.

Isn't this the same deal as Best Buy?

On Futureshops website it says "Buy One, Get One Free. On ANY Dinsey Blu-ray." So Reign of Fire has to be part of the deal, as ANY means all Disney Blu-ray's are included. The had better not argue on that

Whats even worse is that the French Packaging version of Enemy of the State is $27.99.

I checked on-line for The Lookout, Eight Below and Enemy of the State and they are all not in stock at ANY FS location. Is this a coincidence or is this on purpose since they are the most expensive titles included in the deal? Just curious, has anyone actually found/seen these titles since the sale began (today)?

I'll be checking out my local FS tomorrow here in Burlington. Hoping to snag Reign of Fire and something else in the deal. I already got The Guardian and Eight Below in a Wal-Mart screw up price match at Best Buy. Got the 2 for $23 total after price matching :) Sadly i don't really want any of them and was hoping to get them in for 2 Blu-rays i did want as returns. Oh well i will still be checking things out tomorrow for sure.

AFAIK The Lookout has yet to be released in Canada... A similar situation to movies like The Queen being delayed by a few months to making it here on bd... I bought mine at Amazon on release because that movie is freaking awesome.

I've read that stores aren't letting you include those titles that are Disney but not on the list. They are apparently distributed in Canada by some other company. A few people have argued and gotten them but in general FS are jerks so don't expect them to be reasonable about it.

Well i checked and had Reign of Fire in hand but the love of me i couldn't find another movie i wanted. PotC:CotBP was sold out and was my 2nd movie of choice.

Oh and in the note of some the movies from Disney not being included in the deal. If you look on the back of the cases they have a small white label with "Full Distribution rights in Canada by Alliance Atlantis" Which goes for all Miramax films

Reign of Fire, Primeval, Remember The Titans, Annapolis, Casanova, Chicago, Dark Water, Finding Neverland, Flight Plan, G.I. Jane, Glory Road, Goal! The Dream Begins, The Great Raid, The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, King Arthur, Ladder 49 and The Lookout.

These are all Dinsey BD's that are not included on Futurshop's list of BOGO. Each one lists "Distributor: Buena Vista Home Entertainment" on Futureshop's website.

The Haunted Mansion, The Wild, Sky High. These are 3 Walt Disney pictures, distributed by Buena Vista Entertainment, that are not included on Futureshop's BOGO list.

I really don't see any way that they cannot allow any Disney BD to be included in this deal. If they do so, the deal is definately not "any Disney Blu-ray" as the ad says.

I've decided to pass on this sale, I found two that I'd want but if not for the sale I wouldn't have even considered buying them. One of the ones I'd pick isn't on their list and the hassle of fighting over it at the cash register is just not worth it. Some people have gotten them to back down but I've had bad luck with FS and would just rather save the money and hassle. I was gonna pick Deja Vu and Reign of Fire.

I picked up King Arthur, along with five others, today at Vancouver’s Granville street Futureshop with no hassle. $15 a pop.

I ended up buying four BDs, two of which were Remember the Titans and King Arthur (the others were Enemy of the State and Reign of fire). The only one they questioned was Reign of Fire which they ended up conceding anyway. I really wanted The Lookout but it looks like they never had it in the first place. BTW, the Invisible is being released on Tuesday and the sale goes until Thursday, since it is a Disney flick I am thinking of picking it up and grabbing another freebie. I have not seen the Invisible. Is it worth a blind buy?

The Invisible was the worst movie I have seen all year...and I've seen over 80 films in the theatre this year...DO NOT BLIND BUY.

Thanks MDC 3000, I will proceed with caution. I was only considering it because of the free second disc. But I am not going to knowingly buy a crappy movie just for the freebie.

mdc3000, I forgot to mention; that's a lot of movies you have seen. I try to go at least every Firday with my son as we are both movie buffs. We just never got around to seeing the Invisible. Maybe that's a good thing.

I picked up both the pirates movies online today, because none of the stores in my area had them.

Trust me Milit, you are the lucky one! I go every Friday/Saturday as well, but I usually see everything that opened that weekend. Glad to see there are still people out there going to the theatre!

As good as our home theatres are, ther really is nothing like going to the theatres. Although I go see at least one new release on Firdays, I occasionally go again on Saturday or Sunday Mornings to the AMC Theatres where they have $6.00 special on shows before noon.

I couldn't find a FS with both Chicken Little AND Reign of Fire - but I just picked up those 2, Enemy of the State and Finding Neverland on Amazon for $56 after shipping etc, so that's even better! HMV has a bunch of the mainstream Disney titles at bogo as well (pirates, deja vu) for $26.99 plus tax.

In my quest to find those two movies at Future Shop, I saw a wrongly ticketed copy of Romero's Dawn of the Dead BD for $22.19...and with Scanner Code of Practice, it came down to $12.19 - I was happy :)

Picked up Reign of Fire & Bridge to Terebithia, on Friday. Was concerned Reign of Fire would be an issue but it scanned though as part of the deal, and I didn't even have to say anything!

I found one of those too! Same strange $22.19 price tag on it :)

I went to my local FS(Cambridge, On.) on Saturday to take advantage of this sale. I could not find any Disney titles:confused:, I asked the nearest employee who embarrassingly admitted "we are sold out"...:o. This is not a reflection of FS in general, but the Cambridge seems to be where HDM dies. The only new release they had available was Top Gun. Shelf space for both formats amounted to 11/2 shelves each, lame.

Cambridge was one of the ****** ones I checked out... when I asked if they had 'reign of fire' the dude thought I meant 'reign over me'... Yesterday they did have a few Disney bd titles, but there were on a display by the front... Cambridge has the worst entertainment department in the area and really bad staff.
